This week we take a look at Scandal 2-the birth of the long-awaited king of kings in a manger, instead of Jewish Hospital in Jerusalem. Luke never mentions the name of God or Jesus in this passage, but God is certainly the main character, orchestrating big and little things to bring about his will, the birth of the Messiah in Bethlehem in fulfillment of prophecy. This passage has much to say about the sovereignty of God, the Humility of God, and the love of God for us. Each attribute should render important applications for our daily lives.
