We finish off the letters to the seven churches in Revelation with the letter to the Laodicia, an affluent church that was lukewarn and thus in great spiritual danger. It's a remarkable text with Christ's love, graciousness and holiness writ large. Laodicia was a complacent church. Its problems reflect those of many churches and Christians in the affluent countries and cultures of the world. Jesus' challenge to them was to buy from Him what they really needed, be zealous, repent and let Him in.
