In the 60's there was the Sexual Revolution, fuled in part by Masters and Johnson, the pill, pop music, drugs, the Vietnam war and a general anti-establishment sentiment among the youth of our culture. It forever changed our attitudes and actions regarding sexual mores and attitudes. Our books, movies, T.V., art, and music began to advocate a sexual permisiveness outside of marriage that became increasingly accepted by our society and became part of the cultural mainstream. Today, a similar revolution is upon us, gathering momentum with breathtaking speed. Same-sex relationships and rights are becoming more tolerated, accepted, and celebrated in popular culture and politics. Meanwhile the Church is increasingly seen as intolerant, mean, and irrelevant in the debate. So what does this mean for the church? How should we be known in the debate? How should we respond? And what does the Bible say about same-sex attraction and same-sex marriage? These and other important questions will be explored in our current serom series entitled "The Same-Sex Revolution." We hope you will come and hear or download and listen from the website, if you are unable to be with us on the coming Sundays.
