A Christmas Playlist

One of the highlights of the Christmas season is the music. Christ's birth has inspired some of the greatest songs ever written. Christmas carols are rich in theology and biblical lessons. This Advent season our sermon series will focus on the messages of five familiar Christmas carol's which will comprise NCCC's 'Christmas Playlist.'

One of the highlights of the Christmas season is the music.  Christ's birth has inspired some of the greatest songs ever written.  In addition to the beautiful music, Christmas carols are rich in theology and biblical lessons.  So this Advent season our sermon series will focus on the messages of five familiar Christmas carols which will comprise NCCC's Christmas Playlist.   Our hope is that we all will gain greater insight into and appreciation of the person and work of Christ, and, as a result, experience a bit greater joy in singing the songs of the season.  So if you've ever wondered about "the incarnate deity," the "ransom of captive Israel," or "God resting merry gentlemen," you may get some answers and enjoy this series.
