Leader:  Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!

All:  Serve the LORD with gladness!  Come into his presence with singing!

Leader:  Know that the LORD, he is God!

All:  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Leader:  Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!  Give thanks to him; bless his name!

All:  For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

I will sing with the voice that He’s placed in my soul

So the world will hear what He has done

We must sing if our hearts have been changed

by our God

Let the whole world know that He has come

Come and sing with the angels to the King

Come and bring Him your song

Come and sing with the angels to the King

Come and bring Him your song

I will walk through the valley, but I still hear His voice

For the words of the Lord are in my heart

I will rise in the morn’ with the joy that is my strength

Remembering the sound of His voice

Hail to the Lord’s anointed, great David’s greater Son!

Hail in the time appointed, His reign on earth begun!

His reign on earth begun!

He comes to break oppression, to set the captive free;

To take away transgression and rule in equity

He comes in succor speedy to those who suffer wrong;

To help the poor and needy, and bid the weak be strong;

To give them songs for sighing, their darkness turn to light,

Whose souls, condemned and dying, were precious in His sight.

He shall come down like showers upon the fruitful earth;

Love, joy, and hope, like flowers, spring in His path to birth

Kings shall fall down before Him, and gold and incense bring;

All nations shall adore Him, His praise all people sing;

The tide of time shall never His covenant remove;

His name shall stand forever, His Name to us is Love.

Music by Sandra McCracken, Words by James Montgomery

Almighty God, we acknowledge and confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed; we have not loved you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength; we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. Deepen within us our sorrow for the wrong we have done, and the good we have left undone. Lord, you are full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy; there is always forgiveness with you! Restore to us the joy of your salvation; bind up that which is broken, give light to our minds, strength to our wills, and rest to our souls. Amen.

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - Psalm 103:8-12

How deep the Father’s love for us

How vast beyond all measure

That He should give His only Son

To make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss

The Father turns His face away

As wounds which mar the Chosen One

Bring many sons to glory

Behold the Man upon a cross

My sin upon His shoulders

Ashamed I hear my mocking voice

Callout among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there

Until it was accomplished

His dying breath has brought me life

I know that it is finished

I will not boast in anything

No gifts no power no wisdom

But I will boast in Jesus Christ

His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward?

I cannot give an answer

But this I know with all my heart

His wounds have paid my ransom

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty

Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee

Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty

God in three persons blessed Trinity

Holy, holy, holy, all the saints adore Thee

Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea

Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee

Who wert and art and evermore shalt be

Holy, holy, holy though the darkness hide Thee

Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see

Only Thou art holy, there is none beside Thee

Perfect in power, in love and and purity

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty

All Thy works shall praise Thy name in earth and sky and sea

Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty

God in three persons, blessed Trinity
