Men's Prayer Breakfast

February 9, 2016

6:30am – 8:00am

Location: 6170 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, OH 45040

Category: Men's Ministry

Plan to join us Tuesday February 9 at 6:30 am for a Men’s Prayer Breakfast. In many church traditions, the Tuesday immediately prior to Ash Wednesday was known as “Shrove Tuesday;” the term is derived from a word meaning repentance and absolution. In continental Europe, folks would prepare feasts of their meats, eggs, & fish so that they would not spoil during the 40 days of Lenten fasting. In England, milk, eggs, & fats were used up to make pancakes, so this day has been referred to as “Pancake Day.” Join us as we share breakfast, share what the Lord is doing in & through us, and pray for one another and NCCC. Please RSVP to Gordon so we can be sure to prepare enough food.
